"As a matter of fact, it comes close to being the most sensational film ever made in Hollywood." I'd love to do a survey of older film history books to see what they hail as the best in different eras. Maybe Paul Rotha's "The Film Til Now" would be a good starting place, he did a version in 1930 and revised in 1949.<br /><br />It is at this moment that I regret downsizing my film history book collection.
